Crocheted Corner to Corner Ripple Afghan

I'll bet you've seen this afghan and marveled at how advanced the maker was.  How can you turn simple squares into this work of art?!  Then add the lovely stitch that ripples like long grass on a windy day. With a few simple steps and a mantra or two you can make these lovely treasurers.

The hills and valleys of a ripple afghan are deceptively simple but a bit tricky to remember. There are a multitude of variations on this ripple stitch. I will be teaching one of the easier patterns.

This is a great project to work on while keeping warm on the couch watching television.
