Tunisian Crochet

Back in the 60's and 70's this was called the Afghan Stitch. Now called Tunisian Crochet, this is for crocheters and knitters alike!

Tunisian is a cross between the two, but you don't need to have real experience in either craft.  You pick up live stitches, but you pull them off at the end of each row leaving one live stitch.  It's a little tricky getting used to the rhythm but the effect is beautiful.

We will work 3-4 inches of each stitch, sampler style, ending with a rugged piece perfect for an interesting small purse.

Stitches/Techniques Learned:
Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS)
