 Hello Yarnies! This Saturday, June 14 is World Wide Knit in Public Day! Of course we do not stop at knitting, we welcome crocheters, weavers and spinners! If you would like to show the world what you do, please join us at Fun with Sticks and Strings for a great day of crafting, laughing and eating! I have 7 folding chairs so if you want to bring a comfortable chair that would be most welcome. The shop hours are 10:00 - 3:00. Come for a bit or for the day.
The past couple of months have flown by so I'm going to catch up on a few events.
Local Yarn Shop Day was at the end of April and was a fantastic day! Lots of laugher, treat eating and "ohing and Ahing" over the new spring/summer yarns. Many skeins made their way to new homes. Thank you all for spending this special day at Fun with Sticks and Strings and supporting the shop.
In April and May we had some of the customer challenge items on display and I would like to share some pictures and thank those knitters that participated in our annual event.  
Lastly, I want to remind everyone that the shop will be closed from Monday, June 16, 2025 through at least Tuesday, July 8, 2025 as I recover from my surgery.
